Transferring Calls

How To Transfer A Call To Another Extension:

1.  While on a call, press the TRANSFER button on the bottom of the phone

2.  Press the button of the person’s extension and hang up. If you do not have a button for that person’s phone, dial the extension number of that person on the keypad and hang up.

How to announce a call before transferring it:

1.  While on a call, press the TRANSFER button

2.  Press the button that corresponds to the person you want to announce to. If you do not have a button for that person’s phone, dial the extension number of that person on the keypad.

3.  When that person answers announce the call. If they choose to accept the call, hang up. If they do not want to talk to that person, press the line they are holding on to get the call back

How To Transfer A Call Directly To A User’s Voicemail:

1.  While on the call, press the voicemail button (usually labeled Voicemail) Do not put the line on hold!

2.  Press the button that corresponds to the person you want to transfer the call to. If you do not have a button for that person, dial their extension on the keypad and hang up
